Mobile Content Firm Whoop Inc. Raises $2 Million

Atlanta - Whoop, the Atlanta-based provider of a Web-based platform for creating and publishing content to mobile devices, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $2 million in angel funding from a group of individuals.

Investors in the deal include former senior executives and board members at Accenture, Shearson, Dominos Pizza, MySpace, Procter & Gamble, TRW and WebMD.

Whoop's customers include large and mid-tier companies, publishers, ad agencies, public relations firms, interactive studios and direct marketing agencies.

The company has operations in the U.S., Europe and South America.

I love it when a company "raises" millions but wont list the names of investors or clients. Whoop will be gone in 18 months about the time it takes them to burn thru all that "cash".
