Palo Alto,
Calif. - Social Gaming Network
(SGN), a developer of games for social media, said on Tuesday that it has
acquired (fluff)Friends, a Facebook application that lets users adopt virtual
pets and compete to earn virtual currency.
Financial terms of the deal were not
disclosed.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based SGN raised a
$15 million first round of funding in May, and last month announced an
additional investment from Bezos Expeditions.
The company counts 54 million
installs of its social media games, and 1.1 million daily active users across
the various social networks.
