Los Angeles - News Corp.'s (NYSE: NWS) MySpace on Wednesday launched a set of interactive tools for MyDebates.org, a partnership between MySpace and the Commission on Presidential Debates that will provide live video webcasts of the upcoming presidential debates.

In addition to live video, MyDebates.org will offer personalized issue scorecards, polling, and reportable national statistics.

Another feature will allow users to submit a question that may be presented to the candidates during the second presidential debate, a town hall moderated by Tom Brokaw on Oct. 7.

Users will also be able to embed a widget that provides a summary of his or her stances on the issues, and issue-based tracking that lets them track a candidate's stance on issues they care about.

"MyDebates.org will enable Americans to make the most of information presented during the debates, and personalize their experience and engage with the candidates and other voters in a groundbreaking manner," said Lee Brenner, director of IMPACT and executive producer of political programming at MySpace.

Obama/McCain

I want a president that has executive appeal understand where I am coming from and wants to even the playing field as McCain has said. He wants to tax those making over 250k. Not many Americans make that much. Most are losing their 40k or less. We need change and I do not want a President that says he doesnt want to tax anyone; but he wants to tax our employer sponsored health coverage. "Off with his head," as one of the GOP's members has directed toward Obama; I redirect to McCain! The reality is McCain is negative an angry. I feel that Obama addresses and supports all of suggestions. We can go to his website and see what he has outlined. McCain is all over the place, he needs to relax and take his medicine. I do not trust a president that must take lots of medicine as I am sure he takes more medicine than my grandmother. I do not want to go in McCain's direction. If he becomes president, i will renounce my American citezenship, quit my job and move to Europe before full fledge hell erupts as he is as erratic as Bush!

final debate

I feel that Senator Obama showed a flawless presentation. He stayed with the topics, remained true to himself, his supporters and refrained from tapdancing around the truth-unlike John McCain. I was very disappointed with the way John McCain disrespectfully interrupted Barack Obama with snide snickers and he wouln't allow Obama to finish his answers. I watched from my living room. I saw Obama give McCain the respect they both deserved and allowed McCain to finish his responses. I have not always voted as a democrat. I consider myself undecided at the beginning of most campaigns. I like to listen to what each candidate has to say and what they stand for. This year Obama has my vote, my respect and my prayers. I feel that Obama has the greatest potential to turn this country around. God Bless America and God Bless Barack Obama!! Thank you for your time and attention, Ohio Obama Supporter
