Widget Distributor Gigya Lands $11 Million

Palo Alto, Calif. - Gigya, a provider of widget distribution services, announced on Wednesday that it has closed an $11 million third round of financing, led by DAG Ventures.

Previous investors Benchmark Capital, First Round Capital and Mayfield Fund also participated.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Gigya's platform reaches more than 158 million unique monthly users, according to comScore.

The two-year-old company said it installs 15 million widgets to over 50 online destinations and tracks 6 billion installed widget impressions each month. Partners include CNET, DoubleClick, IAC and RockYou.

Gigya will use the funds for development of new products and features.
