Washington - Digini, a developer
of 3D video game development tools, announced on Thursday that it has received
an undisclosed amount of new funding from California Technology Ventures.
Washington-based
Digini plans to release its Blade3D application commercially later this month.
The platform is built on Microsoft's XNA Game Studio 2.0, and initially
supports developers working on games for Windows, with support for Xbox 360
coming soon.
The company will offer versions for hobbyists, independent and
professional developers.
