BlackArrow Gets $20 Million for Video Ad Management Platform

San Mateo, Calif. - BlackArrow, an independent provider of multiplatform ad management systems for viewer-controlled video, announced on Monday that is has secured $20 million in new funding.

Previous investors including Cisco, Comcast Interactive Capital, Intel Capital, Mayfield Fund and Polaris Venture Partners participated in the round, which will be used to expand support for its distribution platform, and for worldwide sales and marketing efforts.

San Mateo, Calif.-based BlackArrow said its ad management system "enables content providers and distributors to create new advertising revenue opportunities, and to reach audiences that increasingly view video programming via broadband, live streaming, video on demand and other emerging platforms outside of traditional, linear television airtimes."
