MindFuse Gets Funding for Multiplayer Casual Games

Berkeley, Calif. - MindFuse, a developer of multiplayer online casual games, has raised $1 million in convertible debt from the Keiretsu Forum, and also expects to raise an undisclosed sum of venture funding over the next month, VentureBeat reported.

Berkeley, Calif.-based MindFuse is developing a 3D animated environment where users can meet and play casual games, and plans to release a beta of its first title in the spring of 2009.

The company previously raised $750,000 across two rounds of angel funding.
