- MirriAd, a provider of embedded advertising technology for video, announced
that it has raised $3.5 million in its second round of venture capital
financing, led by Oxford Technology Enterprise Capital Fund.
Previous backers London
Seed Capital, South East Growth Fund, and private investors led by Seraphim
Capital also participated.
London-based MirriAd's technology can embed branded
objects like props, backdrops or signage into existing video content, and also
provide interactivity such as moving ads on plasma screens.
The company will
use the funds for intellectual property and technology development, and to
support sales efforts.
