Midlothian, Va. – Video game publisher SouthPeak Interactive announced on Tuesday that it will acquire Austin-based Gamecock Media Group.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Virginia-based SouthPeak said its games cover all major genres including action/adventure, role playing, racing, puzzle strategy, fighting and combat.

Gamecock’s titles include "Legendary," "Mushroom Men" and "Velvet Assassin."
