Los Angeles - News Corp.'s (NYSE: NWS) MySpace has launched a domestic beta test of a new advertising platform that allows individuals and small businesses to create and deliver targeted ads to MySpace users. After creating their ad using the self-service MySpace MyAds platform, advertisers can choose to spend between $25 and $10,000 on a campaign. The MyAds platform utilizes MySpace's "HyperTargeting" technology to target MySpace users based on their stated interests and preferences. As of August, MySpace was seeing about 76 million million domestic monthly users, and 122 million worldwide, according to comScore.
