Los Angeles - While CD sales are way down, there are still many opportunities for record labels and artists to monetize music. They just have to think outside the box. Sometimes far outside the box. Barry Schaffer, President of Promotional Currency, explains what music has to do with selling meat. I spoke to him after he did a presentation at DMW's recent Digital Music Forum West during the session called "A Briefing on New Technologies & Business Trends Impacting the Future of the Music Industry."
