Los Angeles - The man accused of posting songs from the
long-awaited and unreleased Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" on
the Internet on Monday pleaded not guilty to federal copyright infringement
charges, Reuters reported.
According to the FBI, 27-year-old Kevin Cogill posted
nine tracks from the unreleased album on his music blog, called Antiquiet.
Cogill
was arrested at his home in Los
Angeles in August, and released the same day.
If
convicted, Cogill could face three to five years in a federal prison. A trial date has not yet been set.
