Saratoga, Calif. - Roku, a maker of digital media software and hardware, including the Netflix Player by Roku, has raised an undisclosed amount of third round funding from Menlo Ventures.

Saratoga, Calif.-based Roku received an investment from Netflix back in January, and launched its digital video player designed for the company in May -- which can stream Netflix content directly to a television.

Other Roku products include the BrightSign line of digital signage controllers.

The company will use the new funds for further product development.
