San Francisco - Fora.tv, a video site focused on political and cultural content, has added $2 million to its first round of venture capital funding, which was first announced in May, VentureWire reported, citing a regulatory filing.

Details on the new investors were not disclosed.

San Francisco-based Fora.tv said in May that it raised $4 million from Adobe Ventures, William Randolph Hearst III and other investors.

The company has content partnerships with C-SPAN, Georgetown University, The Aspen Institute and The World Affairs Council, among others.

Last month, the company named former Conde Nast Portfolio deputy editor Blaise Zerega as its new president and COO.
