Las Vegas - The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced the winners of its International CES Best of Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering awards, which honor advancements in design and engineering in 34 consumer electronics product categories.

Winners were selected by a panel of judges, which included engineers, independent designers and journalists, and will by showcased at January's 2009 International CES in Las Vegas.

"[The] honorees represent the most inventive design and engineering-focused consumer technology products available on the market today," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the CEA.
