New York - Innovation Interactive, a provider of online marketing services, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Netmining, a Belgium-based provider of landing page and on-site behavioral optimization technology.

Netmining's technology is used by a number of leading brands including GM, Danone, BMW, Sun Microsystems, Audi, Saab, Belgacom and UPC.

The company's algorithms define the buying propensity of each visitor to a site, which allows marketers to deliver custom content and interaction.

Netmining's technology will continue to be offered as a standalone product, but will also be integrated into Innovation's SearchIgnite optimization platform in the first half of 2009, according to the announcement.

Terms of the acquisition between the two privately held firms were not disclosed.
