San Francisco - KPG Ventures, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm specializing in seed-stage consumer Internet companies, said that it has launched its second fund, known as KPG II.

The firm launched its initial fund in September 2006, and has since invested in companies in such fields as Internet video advertising, real time group interaction for entertainment, media consumption and social media.

The firm said that it focuses its efforts on a small handful of companies in order to fully utilize its general partners, Vince Vannelli and Dave Hills.
