Los Angeles
- Video game developer Brash Entertainment, which had signed deals with a
number of studios to create games based on big-name movies, is officially
ceasing operations as of today, Variety reported.
The company had commitments
to receive up to $400 million in funding, but these investors apparently
bailed and the company ran out of cash.
Brash, which saw many on its executive
team depart in recent months -- including co-founder Thomas Tull -- was working
on games based on properties including "Superman" and
"Saw."
