Apptera Raises $10.5 Million for Mobile Ad Services

San Bruno, Calif. - Apptera, a provider of mobile advertising services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised a new $10.5 million round of financing, led by return backers Lightspeed Venture Partners, Alloy Ventures and Walden International.

San Bruno, Calif.-based Apptera powers mobile audio and visual ads for customers including AT&T's 1-800-YellowPages, AOL's Moviefone and MLB.com.

The company will use the funds to fuel growth of its voice and visual mobile ad network.
