Meredith Corp. Invests in Publisher Real Girls Media

San Francisco - Real Girls Media, an online publisher that targets young women, announced on Thursday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Meredith Corporation.

Founded in 2006, San Francisco-based Real Girls Media's network of sites includes DivineCaroline.com and other branded sites focused on women.

Under the agreement, RGM will also combine its inventory and sales forces with Meredith, whose network of sites will count 15 million monthly visitors when RGM traffic is included.

Meredith combines national brands like Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies' Home Journal and American Baby with local television brands in fast-growing markets.
