Ad Firm WebVisible Buys Search Marketer Adapt Technologies

Irvine, Calif. - WebVisible, a provider of local online advertising services, announced that it has acquired Adapt Technologies, a developer of search engine marketing technologies.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2001, Irvine, Calif.-based WebVisible has to date raised $17 million in venture capital financing, while Adapt has raised around $10 million, PEHub.com reports.

"By combining Adapt's incredible talent and outstanding technology with our world-class team and industry-leading Geneva platform, we will be able to extend our software platform and enhance our product offerings. And it provides us enhanced solutions for our agency partners," said WebVisible CEO Kirsten Mangers.
