Apple Releases iPhone 2.2 Update

Cupertino, Calif. - Apple (NASD: AAPL) has released its 2.2 software update for the iPhone, while includes new features like Google Street View and walking directions for the Google Maps application, and on-the-go podcasts downloads via Wi-Fi or 3G connections. Other new features include the ability to turn off the auto-correct feature when typing, improved Safari browser performance, improved phone call quality, and improved voicemail sound quality.
