Pembroke Pines, Fla. - A Florida teen committed suicide on Tuesday and broadcast the event on the Internet via his live webcam feed on Justin.tv, NewTeeVee reported.

Nineteen-year-old Abraham Biggs Jr. died of an overdose of opiates and benzodiazepine, Reuters reported, citing the autopsy results from the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office.

According to various reports, Biggs first stated his intentions on a bodybuilding site, and then started a thread on Justin.tv entitled, "Ask a guy who is gonna OD (again) tonight anything ."

Several of the 185 users watching Biggs' live feed reportedly eventually called the authorities, who were later seen breaking into Biggs' residence.

"We regret that this has occurred and respect the privacy of the broadcaster and his family during this time," Michael Seibel, CEO of Justin.tv, wrote in an email published by Wired.com.

"We have policies in place to discourage the distribution of distressing content, and our community monitors the site accordingly. This content was flagged by our community, reviewed, and removed according to our terms of service."
