Nashville,
Tenn. - PassAlong Networks, a
provider of digital music services, plans to close on a new $30 million funding
round later this month, VentureWire reported.
Founded in 2002, PassAlong powers
digital music services for a range of clients, including the player for the
(RED) Wire service launched today.
The company has to date raised a total of
$40 million in venture capital from individual investors.
Tennessee-based
PassAlong's service offers a catalog of nearly 3 million songs, licensed from
all four major labels and many independents.
