Los Angeles - The Timothy Plan, an investor group that only backs companies that it deems to have "moral integrity," has released a holiday shopping report for parents on video games that takes several titles to task for including gay characters.

The group advises parents against purchasing titles including "Army of Two," "Bully," "Fable 2," "Grand Theft Auto IV," "Mass Effect," "Saints Row 2" and a number of "Sims" games for their inclusion of "Gay/Lesbian" content.

"We do not invest in any company that deals with the promotion of homosexuality," The Timothy Plan also states on its website.

"From drug use, prostitution, murder and mayhem to vulgar profanity and blasphemy these games have become a powerfully negative influence on our kids," said Timothy Plan president Art Ally, in a press release.

The Timothy Plan also advises against investing in companies including Microsoft (NASD: MSFT), Time Warner (NYSE: TWX), Viacom (NYSE: VIA), Disney (NYSE: DIS), Vivendi, Clear Channel, Take-Two (NASD: TTWO) and Electronic Arts (NASD: ERTS) for reasons including their official recognition or support of GLBT groups.
