Indian VOD Provider Tinselvision Shuts Down

Washington - Tinselvision, a Web video-on-demand service that offered Indian TV and Bollywood films to South Asian communities living abroad, has shut down, PaidContent reported.

The Washington-based company had raised around $6 million in venture capital, from investor Innovative Entertainment Limited.

Tinselvision had signed licensing deals to offer content from partners including STAR TV, Zee TV, Yash Raj Films and Zoom TV.

Just confirmed - this is a pick up story from Indian press that just discovered the shutdown, not a press release.
