Needham, Mass. - SnapMyLife, a provider of mobile photo-sharing services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $5 million in a deal led by North Bridge Venture Partners and Carmel Ventures.

Needham, Mass.-based SnapMyLife was launched in April 2008 and has grown to more than 1.5 million unique visitors per month and over 500,000 registered users, according to the company.

Mobile phone users can go through SnapMyLife to share pictures, see location-tagged pictures on interactive maps, add favorites, comment and chat.
