Los Angeles - Electronic Arts (NASD: ERTS) has signed a deal with Double Fine Productions to publish "Brutal Legend," a third-person action/adventure/music game starring actor Jack Black, GameDaily.com reported. Set for release in the fall of 2009 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game will follow Eddie Riggs (Black), a roadie thrown back in time who must use his knowledge of heavy metal music "to free an oppressed people and usher in the Age of Metal."
