Yahoo to Expunge User Log Data After 90 Days

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) on Wednesday said that that it will begin anonymizing user log data within 90 days, with limited exceptions for fraud, security and legal obligations. The company said that the policy will apply not only to search log data, but also to page views, page clicks, ad views and ad clicks. The company said that it made the moves following a comprehensive review of its data practices across the globe.
