Washington - Kenneth Paulson, the editor and senior vice president of news of USA Today, will leave the McLean-based newspaper early next year to become the president and COO of Washington, DC's Newseum and its primary backer, the Freedom Forum. He will succeed Peter Prichard, who will work on special projects for a year before retiring. Prichard also served as the editor of USA Today before joining the Freedom Forum and Newseum 12 years ago. Paulson was named the editor of USA Today in 2004, and previously had served as executive director of the First Amendment Center and senior vice president of the Freedom Forum.
