Las Vegas - Gracenote, a provider of music identification technology, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Omnifone, a provider of unlimited music download service, to develop a means of synchronizing a user's personal music collection with Omnifone's service across multiple devices. The service will allow users to, for instance, create playlists that combine personally owned tracks and songs from Omnifone's service, which may then be ported to mobile phones, desktop PCs, home entertainment systems and in-car stereos.
