Venice, Calif. - JibJab, a producer of digital parody cartoons, will continue to turn out its popular political spoofs after landing $7.5 million in its third round of funding.

Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment joined previous investor Polaris Venture Partners.

Founded in 1999 by brothers Evan and Gregg Spiridellis, JibJab gained national notoriety after releasing an Internet video of George W. Bush and John Kerry singing "This Land is Your Land" during the 2004 presidential election.

That video racked up over 80 million views before the election was over.

The company last summer also released "Time for Some Campaignin'," a Bob Dylan parody featuring likenesses of Bush, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, among others.

In addition, JibJab in recent months has created a strong business in the field of personalized e-cards.
