London - Songkick, the developer of a local concert recommendation engine, has raised $4.65 million of an anticipated $7.17 million first round of venture capital financing, VentureWire reported.

Investors included Index Ventures.

London-based Songkick aggregates concert listings from a variety of sources, including Ticketmaster, Ticketweb and StubHub, and provides links to purchase tickets.

The company also offers the ability to automatically track tours based on your personal music library, and receive alerts when bands are playing in your area.
