YouTube Launches New Congressional Video Hubs

Washington - With the full backing of Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle, Google's (NASD: GOOG) online video site YouTube has launched two new channels featuring videos, clips of speeches, committee hearings and behind-the-scenes footage from elected officials on Capitol Hill.

The channels include the Senate Hub (youtube.com/senatehub) and the House Hub (youtube.com/househub).

Several senators and congressmen have posted videos independently on YouTube for years.

YouTube said that the new channels will act as a centralized hub for that content.
