San Francisco - Astro Gaming, a maker of video game accessories including gaming headsets, and travel bags for game consoles and plastic guitar controllers, has raised $3.5 million in venture capital financing, led by Triangle Peak Partners.

Other investors included Fayez Sarofim & Co., Chad DiNenna, Gilbert Arenas and Astro Studios.

The company also expects to receive an additional $1.5 million in the next 90 days.

San Francisco-based Astro Gaming launched its initial product line in April 2008.

The company will use the funds for further product development, and to launch its wares in Europe and Asia.
