London - TweetDeck, a start-up developing tools to help users organize content streams on the Twitter microblogging service, is raising an angel round of funding led by Betaworks, All Things D reported.

The funding round is expected to eventually close somewhere under $500,000.

TweetDeck founder Iain Dodsworth launched the application in June 2008, and since then it has been downloaded 250,000 times.
