Friendster Opens U.S. Headquarters in Silicon Valley

Mountain View, Calif. - Five months after raising $20 million in a new round of funding, online social network Friendster said that it has opened new U.S. headquarters in Mountain View, California. The company, which has the bulk of its users in the Asia-Pacific region, also said that it has opened new offices in Singapore and Sydney, with the latter serving as the base for company CEO Richard Kimber. Friendster said that the Mountain View office will house members of its executive staff, along with employees in all departments.
