San Francisco
- OneSeason.com, the developer of a virtual goods marketplace and social gaming
platform for sports enthusiasts, said on Wednesday that it has raised $3.5
million in its first round of funding, led by Charles River Ventures.
The
San Francisco-based company said that it will use the proceeds to build out its
marketplace and network.
Founded in mid-2007,
OneSeason.com lets users showcase their sports knowledge and allegiances by
acquiring and trading virtual shares of their favorite players using real
money.
