New York - Mochila, the operator of an online content syndication marketplace, announced on Monday that it has raised an undisclosed sum of third round funding, led by the Greenspun Corporation.

VentureWire reports that Greenspun has acquired a majority stake in Mochila through the transaction.

Launched in 2006, New York-based Mochila counts a network of 1,200 members, including the Associated Press, Reuters, Gannett and Tribune, who collectively reach an audience of over 150 million unique monthly viewers.

The company previously has raised around $30 million in financing.
