WSJ: Microsoft to Launch Mobile Applications Store

New York - Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) plans to sell applications and services for mobile phones and other devices running its Windows Mobile software from an "online bazaar," the Wall Street Journal reported.

The company is also soon expected to release the latest version of its Windows Mobile operating system.

Microsoft also plans a new service called My Phone, which will sync and back up data from their mobile phones in an online storage space.
