Israel's Tvinci Lands $1.6 Million for Customized Video Platform

Tel Aviv, Israel - Tvinci, a developer of customized live and on-demand video systems for wireless carriers and pay-TV providers, has raised $1.6 million in its first round of funding from Kaedan Capital, Israel's Globes Online reported.

Tel Aviv-based Tvinci's platform has been installed by customers including MTV Israel, and partners in Poland, Italy, Spain, Hungary and the U.K.

The company charges a one-time license fee and monthly user fees that vary based on Web traffic.
