Calif. - Oodle, the provider of a
search engine for local classified ads, announced on Tuesday that it has raised
an additional $5.6 million in funding from existing investors Greylock
Partners, Redpoint Ventures and JAFCO Ventures.
San Mateo, Calif.-based Oodle counts partners including MySpace, Comcast and Walmart, and will power Facebook's forthcoming Marketplace platform. Oodle CEO Craig Donato said in a blog post that the company's traffic exceeded 10 million visits in January. The company has to date raised a total of $24.6 million.
