Menlo Park,
Calif. - SonicMule (Smule), a
developer of interactive audio applications for the iPhone that include
"Ocarina," said on Thursday that it ahs raised $3.9 million in its
second round of funding, led by Granite Ventures.
Previous investors Bessemer
Venture Partners, Maples Investments, and Smule co-founder and CEO Jeffrey
Smith also participated.
Menlo Park, Calif.-based Smule was co-founded in 2008
by Smith and Ge Wang, an assistant professor at Stanford's Center for Computer
Research in Music and Acoustics.
In addition to "Ocarina," Smule also
developed "Sonic Lighter" for the iPhone.
