AT&T Adds Gracenote MusicID 2 Mobile Application

Barcelona - Gracenote, a provider of music identification and database services, on Thursday announced that its MusicID 2 application or mobile is now available on over 30 handsets offered by wireless carriers AT&T (NYSE: T). The application can identify a song if a user holds her phone up to a speaker playing music, or enters an artist, track name or lyrics. The application then returns information on the track, including full lyrics and links to purchase the track or ringtone.
