Casual Games Firm PlayFirst Names New CEO, CFO

San Francisco - Casual games developer PlayFirst, creator of the "Diner Dash" franchise, on Thursday named Mari Baker as CEO and Jim Wandrey as chief financial officer. Baker was previously CEO of Navigenics and before than president of BabyCenter, while Wandrey served as CFO of Telephia. Baker replaces PlayFirst co-founder John Welch, widely regarded as one of the leaders of the casual game revolution and the mind behind the success of the "Diner Dash" franchise. Welch will be moving on to a new yet to be disclosed venture. Stay tuned for more on that.
