Calgary,
Canada - Tynt, a
provider of tools used by online publishers and social networks to increase
user engagement and maximize revenue, has raised about $3.9 million, from
iNovia Capital, Alberta Value Added Corp. and individual investors.
Calgary,
Alberta-based Tynt's Tracer service can monitor and track when users copy
content from a website, and attach attribution to the copied content.
"This
provides actionable indication of the content most valued by users, drives
additional traffic back to customer sites and enhances search engine
optimization strategies," the company said.
