Calgary, Canada - Tynt, a provider of tools used by online publishers and social networks to increase user engagement and maximize revenue, has raised about $3.9 million, from iNovia Capital, Alberta Value Added Corp. and individual investors.

Calgary, Alberta-based Tynt's Tracer service can monitor and track when users copy content from a website, and attach attribution to the copied content.

"This provides actionable indication of the content most valued by users, drives additional traffic back to customer sites and enhances search engine optimization strategies," the company said.
