Amazon.com's "Daily Deal" Discounts U2 MP3 Album to $3.99

Seattle - As part of its "Daily Deal" promotions, Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) is offering U2's new album "No Line On The Horizon" as an MP3 download for just $3.99 today, VentureBeat noted. Apple's (NASD: AAPL) iTunes Store is offering the album at the standard $9.99 price point, and has also discounted the band's catalog to $7.99 for the release; Amazon also discounted the rest of the band's catalog, to $5.99 per album. Amazon has previously offered new release deals on records from artists including Bon Iver and Prodigy.
