San Francisco
- Pure Digital Technologies, maker of the Flip Video line of low-cost digital
video camcorders that can upload video directly to the Internet, is considering
a sale of the company, and Cisco Systems is among the interested buyers, TechCrunch
reported, citing "multiple sources."
The Flip cameras, which cost
between $130 and $230, can upload video they have just captured to the Internet
via an on-board USB connector.
Pure Digital has to date raised some $68 million
in venture capital financing.
