Wash. - Just three months after
merging with Sprint Nextel's high-speed wireless network, Kirkland, Wash.-based
WiMAX firm Clearwire has replaced its CEO. The company has tabbed telecom
industry veteran Bill Morrow to take over for company co-founder Benjamin
Wolff, who will remain co-chairman. Morrow most recently served as the
president and CEO of Pacific Gas & Electric, and previously held a number
of senior executive positions at European wireless giant Vodafone and Vodafone
Group, including CEO of Vodafone Europe and Vodafone UK.
