Content Delivery Network Cotendo Lands $7 Million

San Carlos, Calif. - Cotendo, a provider of content delivery network services and software, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $7 million in second round funding, from Sequoia Capital and Benchmark Capital.

Founded in 2008, San Carlos, Calif.-based Cotendo, which maintains research and development facilities in Israel, is targeting mid-sized companies with its content delivery network.

The company will use the funds to augment its team, bring its content delivery applications to market, and accelerate new product development.
